Ladies in Red

A talented bridal party of uniquely beautiful women + cherry-red silk dupioni = one happy seamstress.

The bride chose two different styles for her girls, and I had a wonderful time using Colette's Eclair Pattern for the strapless dress and developing my own design for the pleated-collar dress.

These ladies were amazing. They took professional photographs (that's photolodico there with the camera.) They decorated everything (with their hands and imaginations - and then with their smiling faces.) Emily of Emily's Jewelry Box (center, with the tulips) made the pearl and dark metal bridal jewelry including part of the bride's gown embellishment. Another attendant sang the bride down the aisle. It was a joy to be a part of this wedding and to spend time with these stellar gals.
